Get on your mountain bike and experience all the best bits of the Remutaka Cycle Trail and beyond.
Explore restored railway bridges, zoom through historic tunnels and ride over the thrilling Siberian Suspension Bridge.
Then travel down the old railway incline to the abandoned Cross Creek settlement, and out to a waiting bus to transport both you and your bike back to where you started.
Caution is advised for children under 14 years as this ride includes a 10km gentle incline to the summit and some gravelly sections. After the summit there is an 8km downhill cruise down to Wairarapa. We’ll provide transport back to the starting point.
Kids 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Don’t forget to pack a picnic, snacks and water.
